Wealth manager Brooks Macdonald has announced that Richard Larner, head of research, and senior portfolio director Michael Toolan will take over as co-chief investment officers (CIO) following the departure of current CIO Edward Park later this year. Larner and Toolan have a combined 35 years of experience at the firm and have demonstrated strong investment acumen and leadership skills. In addition, Philip Glaze will take on the role of chair of Brooks Macdonald’s Investment Committee, responsible for maintaining the firm’s house view and investment rules.
