Marshall Smith rules as Voyager CTO and Starlab Space Board Member.

In a recent executive move, Marshall Smith has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Voyager Space, a space exploration company based in Denver, Colorado. Smith will also serve as a member of the board of directors at Starlab Space, a planned joint venture between Voyager and Airbus. In this role, Smith will provide advice on the development and operations of the Starlab space station.

Prior to this appointment, Smith served as the Vice President of Exploration at Voyager Space. He also previously worked as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Space Stations at commercial space services provider Nanoracks. Smith has nearly four decades of experience working at NASA, where he held various positions, including Deputy Associate Administrator for Systems Engineering and Integration.

Dylan Taylor, the CEO and Chairman of Voyager Space, praised Smith’s experience and technical expertise, stating that he is the perfect choice for the CTO role and as a board member at Starlab Space.
